CCAV Country Conference - a great success!

The successful Country Conference was held on the 19th and 20th May 2017 at the Mercure, Port of Echuca with over 150 Members, Sponsors and partners attending over the two days. The Conference was opened by Peter Walsh MP, Member for Murray Plains and welcomed by Cr Leanne Pentreath, Deputy Mayor, Western Ward.

The Cemetery Tour on the Saturday included a visit to Kyabram Cemetery where morning tea was served and delegates were able to tour the cemetery.  After lunch, delegates visited the Conference Host’s Cemetery in Echuca, where the they supplied tour guides for a short history walk and delegates were able to mingle and spend some time visiting exhibiting displays of sponsors and suppliers to the industry.

Many thanks to the Echuca Cemetery Trust, for enthusiastically hosting the 2017 Country Conference and arranging a tour of their cemetery, as well as allowing Sponsors to display their products and services to delegates in the afternoon on the Saturday, Their assistance helped in making the conference the success it was.

Special mention also goes out to the Kyabram Cemetery Trust for their agreement and support in accepting delegates at their cemetery, arranging a great morning tea and providing a tour of their cemetery in the morning on the Saturday.
